Prenatal Screening

Prenatal Screening

Choice in prenatal testing

Prenatal genetic testing comprises far more than just noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT)—also called NIPS and cfDNA (cell-free DNA) screening.

For some patients, prenatal genetic testing can be a three-step process: serum screening, followed by NIPT, followed by prenatal diagnostic testing.

Integrated Genetics—a member of the Labcorp Specialty Testing Group—has both the depth of testing experience (more than 25 years) and the breadth of testing services to support nearly every genetic testing need your patient may have at each step of her pregnancy.

Our prenatal offerings include serum screens, NIPT, and diagnostic testing.

With the acquisition of Sequenom in 2016, we now offer the pioneering NIPT, MaterniT® 21 PLUS and the only genome-wide NIPT, MaterniT GENOME.

While some genetic laboratories require patients to go elsewhere for diagnostic testing, we offer both continuity and choice.
