Chi-Fu Chen, PhD

Dr Chen received his Ph.D. from the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Rutgers University in 2010. He has extensive experience in the field of biomedical science. His research focuses on human diseases and premature aging that are due to genome stability. He completed his postdoctoral training at Princeton University in 2019.

Dr Chen was awarded the Anne B. and James H. Leathem Research Award at Rutgers University in 2009. He received a post-doctoral fellowship award from the New Jersey Commission on Cancer Research in 2012.
Dr Chen has served as a variant scientist at Labcorp since 2019. He has authored more than 15 articles and abstracts published in such journals as Genetics, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Nature Communications, EMBO journal, Molecular Cell, The Journal of Biological Chemistry.

When not working, Dr Chen enjoys hiking and photography.
