Dr. Heidi Ko is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist serving as a Medical Director of Medical Affairs at Labcorp Oncology, where she leads scientific, clinical, and educational initiatives that advance evidence based oncology diagnostics for clinicians, patients, and biopharmaceutical partners. Prior to joining Labcorp, she was an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UT Health San Antonio with a clinical focus in breast oncology. In her academic role, she served as the site principal investigator for the Academic Breast Cancer Consortium and contributed to translational research development through the Experimental & Developmental Therapeutics committee. She also supported scientific rigor and protocol oversight as a member of the Protocol Review Committee.
Dr. Ko is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and completed her medical training at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by internal medicine residency at UTHealth McGovern Medical School in Houston and hematology/oncology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
